Food and Beverage Intern/Trainee: Please see placement plan for further details - Learn how to service multiple aspects of a food and beverage operation in a restaurant/ restaurant/resort. - Communicate with other staff to ensure successful operation of all aspects of food and beverage in the host company’s various food service outlets. - Learn how to remain organized and professional in a fast-paced management environment and ensure quality of service for guests of the hotel. - Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes. - Answer questions about food, beverage, restaurant functions, services, and resort services and activities. - Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar. - Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner. - Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. - Between seating's, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. - Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to their needs and requests.
Plan de entrenamiento
Full day of orientation prior to being released to working in department. Student will receive department specific training from their direct supervisor.

- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently - Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time - Ability to reach, stretch, bend, climb stairs, and walk during daily routine
