The participant will attend the New Hire Orientation which includes the company's history, property tour, and reviewing the hotel policies, procedures, customer service, and safety standards. During this phase, the participant will shadow and assist the Immediate Supervisor in managing the Department. The participant's role is to ensure and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all F&B and Dining areas. During this phase, the participant's role is to manage the reception area of the Restaurant, greet and seat guests based on their preferences and balancing of guest flow in service stations, provide menus to guests and the estimated wait time, attend over the phone reservations, perform opening and closing responsibilities, maintain open communication with all BOH (Back of House) staff and will assist, and resolve guest complains or concerns with minimal supervision. The participant will assist in operational and supervisory responsibilities of Front and Back of the House operations of the host company's different Food and Beverage Outlets. The participant will shadow and assist the food and beverage manager in overseeing all aspects of food and beverage outlets and service during operating hours, as well as assisting in preparing the outlets for service through forecasting, scheduling and planning.
