Food & Beverage - Learn stations and review of place settings and job specific responsibilities - Learn how to run food and placement of food - Learn side-work responsibilities. - Learn basic skills, knowledge and service standards. - Cash Handling Procedures, Guest Service Standards and Procedures - Introduction to the Food & Beverage outlets, as well as the standards of the JW Marriott brand. Including but not limited to detailed steps of service, introduction to the restaurants' point-of-sale systems, exposure to a variety of culinary styles, menu selections, service methods, and luxury guest service. - Cash Handling Procedures, Guest Service Standards and Procedures, including learning the proper arrangement of all dishes, linens, silverware and tables; Becoming familiar with the dining room layout and assisting with rearranging as necessary; answering requests and questions in a prompt and courteous manner; Assist guests with any requests; deliver orders within required time frame; ensure cleanliness of training areas. - Introduction to the Food & Beverage outlets, as well as the standards of the JW Marriott brand. Including but not limited to detailed steps of service, introduction to the restaurants' point-of-sale systems, exposure to a variety of culinary styles, menu selections, service methods, and luxury guest service. - Serving and serving etiquette; Customer service; Room Service policies and procedures; State Health Department Guidelines and general cleanliness; Front Office service standards; Ability to communicate in a fast-paced environment; Customer service skills.

Requisitos

- Currently enrolled or graduated from a Hospitality/Restaurant management degree. - Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant serving experience with a basic knowledge of dining room service procedures - Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace - Must have a strong desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team

Alojamiento

Host Company Provided Housing $750 to $1100 per participant per month. $500 housing deposit.
