Descripción del puesto

The participant will learn the necessary skills to run fun activities, such as Kayak races, Build a raft and race, Golf Tournament, Cornhole, Bocce ball, Giant Jenga, Potato sack race, and/or any requested assistance by the group. The participant will deliver 1 on 1 assistance as well as lead groups when the need arises. These activities will enhance the participants interpersonal skills as well as provide practice on how to address guest needs and or concerns. The supervisor and participant will have regular interactions throughout the day, allowing the supervisor to gauge the participant’s comprehension and answer any questions or concerns. The participant will directly report to their primary phase supervisor. At the end of the phase and end of the program, the supervisor will give guidance and answer any pending questions or concerns that the participant may have. -The participant will learn how to interview candidates and attend Staff meetings. -The participant will receive hands on training in all systems used by the Recreation Manager such as Maintenence-Breezeway Ordering-Birchstreet Accounting-Ottimate Guest operating systems-Way, Micros & Opera Payroll-UKG -The participant will develop the necessary skills to run Group and Resort activities. The participant will manage, distribution of equipment, schedule events on days there is inclement weather, coordinate and execute the children’s activities

Requisitos

The ideal Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about creating positive recreational experiences for diverse communities.
