Información adicional
Nestled in the heart of the White River National Forest and surrounded by the peaks of the Elk Mountains, Aspen is well known as a ski destination, but the town’s history and offerings go much deeper. Aspen looks like a page from a storybook: majestic, snow-capped peaks, verdant forests and charming mountain towns that twinkle by night. Aspen’s beautiful scenery and open space also lends itself well to other types of winter recreation, such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, fly-fishing and even hot-air ballooning. After a hard day of play enjoy Aspen’s legendary après ski scene, including premier shopping, cultural events and music festivals, or head out for dinner at one of our world-class restaurants. While Aspen gained recognition as a premier skiing destination, it wasn’t long before visitors began to explore and appreciate the area, sans snow. Spring, summer and fall are ideal times for hiking, biking and rafting. A beautiful playground all year long, breathe in the fresh, alpine air and explore everything there is to do and see in this elegant, outdoorsy community.
