STARR Restaurants presents a world of remarkable experiences with a portfolio as diverse as it is daring. Showcasing concepts that capture the elements of Latin America, Asia, the UK, the US, and beyond, STARR awakens tastes and enlivens palates with creative interpretations of rich cooking traditions from around the world. STARR Restaurants has multiple locations in NY, PA, FL, TN and DC. Candidates will be placed at a specific restaurant based on their skillset and best fit for a successful program experience Participant will receive in house training where one will gain first-hand knowledge of American Techniques and methodologies and learn the differences in a restaurant culture between the United States and their own country. The participant will be assigned hands on, mentored training activities within the Garde Manger station to learn and develop skills and knowledge for high volume kitchen production and organizational methods. The participant will be assigned hands on, mentored training activities related to the training site's main kitchen and its functions to gain skills and knowledge of the host site's culinary operations. This phase will introduce the participant to the different hot line positions in the kitchen The participant will learn the skills needed to supervise and provide leadership guidance by objectives defined by the host company while utilizing the knowledge covered in prior phases to be an effective supervisor. (Trainee Only) The participant will learn and master the skills needed to supervise a shift in the restaurant kitchen, utilizing the knowledge of techniques, organizational culture, policies, procedures, and practices learned in prior rotations.

Requisitos
Any candidate applying for placement with STARR Restaurants should be driven, energetic, excited to learn and develop their skills. Strong English-speaking skills are a must. In addition, the candidate should be willing to help support others, communicative, and have a passion for the Culinary Arts.
Alojamiento
Participant Arranged Housing Leads provided Approximately $500 to $800 per candidate per month depends on location.

Wage: Ranges from $18/Hr Interns - $19/Hr Trainees, Based on State, Site of Activity & experience. Overtime is available if pre-approved by supervisor.
